The centre of Cambridge is dominated by the city’s prestigious university. During the mid-20th-century, the university saw an accelerated rate of expansion with seven new colleges designed by the country’s leading architects. Although it’s not possible to include them all in a single walk, this guide features several of them, as well as a selection of Modernist houses, often built for scholars.
