EU SHIPPING AND TAXES
We ship orders from the UK and are members of the IOSS EU VAT system, meaning VAT is charged at source for EU orders valued at €150 or under. In most cases, the checkout price that you see includes all applicable taxes and costs.

For deliveries to some EU countries, a local handling fee may apply depending on how the parcel is processed by the carrier. We work to minimise surprises and will always aim to keep charges predictable. 

In rare cases, local customs authorities or delivery partners may apply additional handling fees or charges that are outside our control. Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

EU Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, please submit a cancellation request using our online Withdrawal Form before the end of the cancellation period.

If you cancel your order within the applicable period, we will refund all payments received from you. We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back from you.

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your decision to cancel.

You are responsible for arranging and paying the direct cost of returning the goods.

Please take reasonable care of the goods and package them appropriately for return. We reserve the right to reduce any refund to reflect any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and condition of the goods, including damage caused during return transit where the goods have not been adequately protected.

PRE-ORDER ITEMS
If your purchase includes a pre-order item, orders will be shipped once every item is in stock. If you would like items that are in stock to be shipped sooner, please purchase them separately.

DELIVERY TIMES
Items are shipped within 5 working days of receiving your order. Delivery time after that varies with your chosen method of shipping, please see below:
UK standard shipping
All items are sent Royal Mail 48 TRACKED services for peace of mind. Charges are calculated automatically when you check out. Tracking information will be shared upon dispatch.

—Europe Standard Airmail
Cost effective with a delivery time of approx. 5–7 working days.

Europe Tracked and Signed
Updgrade to this service at an additional cost. You will get a tracking number and delivery time will be approx. 4–5 working days.

—Worldwide Shipping
For peace of mind, we are no longer sending parcels outside Europe as Standard or Economy Mail, all items are sent via a Tracked service. Delivery times will vary depending on customs and the destination country.

IMPORT DUTY
Overseas shipments (outside of the EU or items in the EU) may be subject to import duties and tax. Additional charges must be at the customer’s expense. Things You Can Buy has no control over these charges and accepts no responsibility for any additional overseas costs. I

CANCELLATIONS
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.

RETURNS POLICY
If you change your mind and would like to return your order, please get in touch within 72 hours of receiving your package. Please note we cannot exchange goods*. You must return the order to us, in its original condition, within 14 days in order to get a refund. Items returned in an unsellable condition will not be refunded. Please use a secure postage method so that you can trace where the package is. The item is your responsibility until we receive it. Returned items will be refunded as soon as we receive them. 

*In certain circumstances, we may be willing to exchange items if you live in London. Please contact us to discuss. 

Any faulty items must be returned to us before a replacement or refund is provided.

MISSING/DELAYED ORDER
Very rarely a package can be delayed or go missing during transit, this can be exacerbated during the festive period when there is a higher demand for postal services or with delayed customs checks worldwide. 

Please allow 12 working days (UK) and 20 working days (Worldwide) for your order to arrive before getting in touch and we will investigate. During the festive period these times can increase.

If we are notified of a missing or delayed package after 1 calendar month from the date of your dispatch confirmation we are unable to investigate, issue a duplicate or refund your order. 

Please double check the delivery address you have inputted in your order is correct. We are not responsible for lost or delayed orders due to an incorrect address, and cannot refund in this event. If your parcel is returned to us due to an uncollected item or incorrect address, we will refund the cost of the item — ONLY if it is returned in a sellable condition — minus the postage cost.
